Space Ghost is a great character who has been around since the 60s created by Hanna-Barbera Productions and originally aired on CBS.  The Space Ghost animated series was a massive success, especially during the height of Hanna-Barbera's popularity. But for those of you not familiar with Space Ghost, he's a superhero in space that has two teenage sidekicks, Jan and Jace, who have a pet monkey named Blimp, and together the four of them protect the vastness of space.  You know, those dark gaps between the stars.
